Digital art: good to know/tutorials PART_1
Hey, hey cupcakes! :tighthug:
PART_2 ! General
So... this is the first part in featuring some extremely useful tutorials which can be found on DA (and some from off-site as well). This one isn't limited on digital art only, but the rest will be. I wanted to post everything in one journal, but theres 200 thumbnail limit, sooo yeah :XD: I decided to divide everything in following categories: sketching/referencing/anatomy etc, General, blending, steps, color, perspective/Composition/value, Walkthrough, nose, hair, skin, photoshop/wacom, brushes, eyes, lips, textures, ears, fabric/clothes, environment, misc (how to paint water, fire, rocks, rai

Digital painting tutorials PART_2
Hey all!
PART_1 ! Sketching/referencing/anatomy etc.
Alright, here we go, this is part 2. You can say its about general painting, but its mostly about painting faces :P I tried to cut down a little with thumbnails :giggle:
Umm, before I forget, make sure to check this one out http://theartreferences.tumblr.com , Pencil-Stencil (https://www.deviantart.com/pencil-stencil) told me about it, and I found some really useful stuff there  Part 3 will probably be about eyes, lips, skin and blending, and it will be up in a few days.
If you know about some tutorials that can be helpful to other artists, note me, thank you

Your work looks really good the only thing i can really tell you would to work a little on character construction. If your doing a complex pose try drawing construction lines of the character first and make sure its correct. You can also check this by trying to duplicate the pose in a mirror and seeing how the muscles redistribute themselves to keep you standing.
thanks, I got ahead of my self and just started throwing colors and shading around before I worked very hard on the construction part.....have posted an updated version....like the mirror idea
Not a problem! If you wouldn't mind taking a look at some of my digital work and giving me some tips it would really help me out. the transition from traditional to digital is kind of... brutal...
